We are looking for a HARDWARE ENGINEER to join the R&D department. Fostering the expertise for the hardware, contributing to the definition of company objectives and ensuring his development up to the efficient and timely production and respect of quality standards, The Hardware Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing hardware components for Alpinestars’ electronic products. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the hardware meets the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Design and develop hardware components for electronic products; Create detailed design specifications based on product requirements; Conduct simulations and prototyping to validate hardware designs; Perform testing and debugging of hardware to ensure functionality and reliability. Collaborate with software engineers to integrate hardware and software components. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and certifications. Document design processes, test procedures, and results. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, or a related field; Minimum of 5 years of experience in hardware design and development accrued in big Electronics Company; Experience with consumer electronics, specifically in mobile battery-operated devices; Familiarity with embedded systems and RTOS; Strong understanding of product development process controls and measures; Proficiency in hardware design tools and techniques. Experience with low power control systems, battery management, and multi-axial sensing systems. Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware issues. Good knowledge of Electronics testing equipment (most important are Oscilloscope and power supply); the candidate should be autonomous on equipment usage. Good soldering skills. When working on prototyping the candidate should be autonomous in soldering basic SMD components on prototyping boards or PCBs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Ability to develop innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of the market; Fluency in English. Position is available in Onè di Fonte (TV).
