Product Manager - Lighting

The Product Manager, EMEA Region is tasked with developing the market approach strategy and product lifecycle roadmap for new service line(s) within the AHL Lighting sub-segment. This role will be responsible for the management of the day-to-day lighting business within the region, including formulating and executing pricing strategies to maximize margins at the product/service level and developing and launching commercial Go-to-Market strategies for existing and new services to drive business growth in the region. The Product Manager will work collaboratively across all business functions necessary to maximize business growth across the entire portfolio of existing services as well as launching new innovative service solutions. This includes working in continuous coordination with Business Development, Engineering, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Client Services and with external stakeholders including customers and industry associations. The main responsibilities for the Product Manager will be the following: - Develop, champion and execute new service strategies that ensure profitable growth that meets the businesses' desired goals. - Own all product management functions, including but not limited to; product mix assessment, pricing management, market share evaluation, competitive analysis, and sales enablement tool development and training for existing and new services. - Collaborate with and support Business Development to ensure new product development activities remain on time and on budget. - Evaluate, advocate for and set key product priorities in line with the business strategy and objectives. - Develop pricing strategies and competitive positioning based on various regional differentiators. - Implement market research strategies based on customer and market requirements that evaluate Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats. - Recommend new products for development based on customer/market needs and business goals. - Implement the tools and processes needed to define the go to market strategy and vision for new services. - Drive continuous improvement in Product Management by examining internal processes and identifying and executing on opportunities to streamline and create synergies throughout the COU. - Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, speed, innovation, and excellence while continuously elevating the quality and caliber of the COU. - Work with new and potential customers to understand their needs and the business value that they will derive from using our platforms. - Work closely with Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, Professional Services and Customer Service groups to develop world-class sales tools, templates, product collateral, white papers, customer case studies, and sales presentations. - Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices. The ideal candidate has the following qualifications: - University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelor's degree) in Business Administration, Marketing, or related disciplines. - Advanced Degree (MBA or related) preferred plus generally seven years of direct Lighting Product Management experience, or eight years of experience in Marketing, Business Development, or Sales within the lighting industry. - Demonstrated ability in key technical areas including: Pricing Management and Analysis, Commercial Sales Enablement strategies, Long-Range Business Planning, Profit & Loss Analysis, Data Mining and Intelligence, Product/Service Commercial Strategies, Managing Opportunity Pipelines, and Product Life Cycle Management. - Strong executive level communication and presentation skills are preferred along with a detailed understanding of lighting industry product lines and target markets.
