Mission: Constituting the third line of Defense, IGAD (Inspection and Audit Division) assesses the compliance of the Group's operations, the effective level of risk exposure, the adequate enforcement of procedures, and the effectiveness and relevance of the permanent control set-up. IGAD also assesses the audited entity's management's risk awareness and gives its opinion on compliance with the rules of business conduct and expected professional practices. You will be part of the Italian Internal Audit Department of Société Générale located in Milan, reporting to the Head of Country and collaborating with the IGAD (Inspection and Group Audit Division) business line. Tasks and Responsibilities: Participate in the management and audit activities of the GBIS Business Lines (Global Banking and Investor Solutions), specifically SGSS S.p.a and SG Milan Branch. Define, in collaboration with the other managerial profiles of the Department, the focus of the audit missions, staffing assignments, and oversee execution at all stages and the quality of outputs, ensuring compliance with audit methodology and International Standards. Manage communication with auditees in the delegated area and communicate with business correspondents and/or Central Teams on the proposed audit plan and individual audit missions. Draw up a multiannual and annual audit plan for the area and companies entrusted. Participate in the training of auditors, development of methodology and internal audit projects, and share information with team members, promoting the use of innovative methods and procedures for the performance of audit missions. Monitor the quality of corrective measures processed and approve their closure. Provide an assessment of the audited areas to senior management and control bodies of the bank and subsidiaries when needed. May be entrusted by the Head of Country with the responsibility to manage a group of employees, leading and developing an audit team (including identification of training needs) to ensure adequate expertise and competence for audit missions. Coordinate, control, and evaluate team members and be involved in the recruitment of new auditors. Profile Required: Studies & Experience: Higher Education. At least 7-8 years of experience in auditing. Banking background is mandatory. Language Skills: Fluency in Italian and English. French is a plus. Technical, Operational & Soft Skills: Very good knowledge of banking and financial markets. Familiarity with banking laws, regulations, and professional integrity standards. Excellent oral and written communication. Analytical and synthesis skills. Independence and objectivity. Assertiveness and critical attitude. Conflict of interest management. Team spirit.
