We are looking for a person to be hired within the Research & Development Global Central Function who will be responsible for: Perform the definition of the software specification to be implemented to meet system and customer requirements; Perform the application software development for mechatronic systems, both in case of modifications and maintenance of the existing code base and in case of new functionality development; Perform the configuration of the OS and other third-party basic software modules; Debug the software in simulation environment (SIL/HIL) or at the bench (also making use of in circuit debuggers) and occasionally in the vehicle; Develop toolchains to support automation of code generation and software builds; Ensure that the software is developed according to the corporate processes (A-SPICE) and in compliance with functional safety standards (ISO 26262) when applicable; Guarantee the analysis and resolution of anomalies and change requests originated internally or by customer demand. Requirements Degree in computer or automation engineering or computer science. Good level of English language Previous experience in automotive, aerospace, railway, home appliances, IOT o or industrial automation sectors. Excellent knowledge of embedded software development, programming on microcontrollers, including the use of laboratory equipment and in circuit debuggers. Knowledge of developing device drivers for integrated circuits connected via SPI, configuration of MCU peripherals and pin mappings. Previous experience in the use of the AUTOSAR architecture is welcome. Knowledge in version control, issue tracking and requirement management tools is welcome. Knowledge in scripting languages is welcome, preferably Python. Knowledge of BLDC motors and related control techniques is welcome. Knowledge of semi formal documentation techniques (UML) is welcome.
