_ Main Responsibilities_: - Category strategy - Develops the packaging category strategy in alignment with the business requirements and with the buy in of the internal key stakeholders; Develops the near-mid-and long-term category strategy roadmap; Develops the supplier relationship strategy - SRM ( suppliers, preferred global/regional suppliers vs. local suppliers). - Business alignment - Builds effective relationships with internal key stakeholders, supporting senior leaders with analysis of procurement strategic opportunities or risks that affect the future course of the business; Ensures that the strategy and its implementation is aligned with the overall business strategy and policies. - Category knowledge and expertise - Monitors and understands the market, key players and demand drivers for the category; Shares the category information and knowledge with the key stakeholders and procurement colleagues across regions and sites; Has a good understanding of external policies, regulations and laws related to the category. - Supplier relationships and contract management with all suppliers (strategic, preferred) - Manages interactions with key global / regional suppliers; Makes sure that for the agreed preferred suppliers category agreements are in place; Ensures that suppliers contracts are always timely renewed and obtained via process guaranteeing best commercial conditions for Recipharm; Leads the RFI/RFP processes and lead the negotiations with suppliers. - Implementation and contract compliance - Works together with local buyers to implement the category strategy; Drives and supports the team of Recipharm procurement professionals involved in the contract lifecycle. - Category data stewardship, reports and KPI’s - Monitors and gathers spend data from various sources (ERP, BI, supplier info, etc.); Guarantee performance tracking within the category and define budgetary impact; Captures financial savings through insights and analysis; Works with CoE procurement to gather supplier performance data. _Key competensies_: - Demonstrated Packaging Category management experience - Experience in Strategic Supplier Account/ Relationship Management - Strong negotiation skills - Excellent analytical skills, structured and methodical approach - Collaborative and constructive communication - Deliver on promise with a can-do attitude - Strong communication skills and credibility to engage with senior leadership roles - High level of self-motivation - University degree and min 5y work experience - Fluent in English
