Position Summary

The candidate will work in a global context environment, on local and global programs, closely with release teams and other functional groups; he/she will own all technical aspects of the product, testing and changes, proactively recognizing any possible issues and develop solutions to meet product requirements within time and cost limits.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Lead the engineering team across all competencies in order to deliver a product to stakeholder requirements.
  2. Responsible for the engineering activities through all development phases in order to guarantee the correct technical definition, performance and reliability.
  3. Negotiate the requirements with stakeholders at system level to be harmonized with internal specification and organization.
  4. Lead the cross-regional technical core team consisting of the various subsystems owners.
  5. Lead the EDU System DFMEA preparation and supports the definition of the system/subsystems DVP.
  6. Technical interface with the customer at system level for:
    1. Attributes (NVH, Power/Torque, Efficiency, Thermal, Weight)
    2. Requirements
    3. Technical Sing-Off and DVP&R
  7. Involve subsystem owners and/or specialists for detailed discussions with the customer.
  8. Reports out to external/internal in regular projects reviews and issues escalation.
  9. Support in definition of LV Technology Development Plan, with focus on innovative products bringing his competencies and expertise in analyzing product, technologies and market trends by the investigation of customers, suppliers and competitors products, participating and collecting information from main Engineering Congresses.
Job Requirements

Education: University Master Degree Vehicle / Mechanical / Aerospace or Equivalent

Professional background: 5-8 years of relevant experience in design and development of automotive electrified products.

Hard Skills Essential: Gears, Transmission, electrified Powertrain, Ability to travel, Fluent English.

Considered as a plus: Problem solving techniques (Red-X, 8D), DFMEA according to AIAG std.

Soft Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills, working in global cross-functional team. Analytical thinking skills, open mind and team working oriented. Ability to manage complexity with a high sense of accountability, proactivity, and accuracy.
