Take the chance to work for the Organization in charge of delivering one of the biggest and most prestigious events in sport field Feel the Olympic and Paralympic energy joining us at Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, leaving a mark in the sport history BREAK THE ICE Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games. Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government. During the Games, the OCOG Medical Services area is responsible for the medical care and health planning for all stakeholder groups associated with the Games including athletes and team officials, technical officials, Olympic/Paralympic family and their guests, media, workforce, Marketing Partner guests and spectators. The OCOG provides coordinated delivery of medical care for all stakeholder groups inside Games venues and ensures that appropriate medical care is available outside Games venues. The Medical Services area’s scope includes medical care for all stakeholder groups, emergency medical service provision, provision of hospital services, relations with the public health authorities, infection control, disaster planning, guarantees and operational issues. To this end, medical services creates the facilities to support the SSN and the SSR. Provision of these medical services can have a positive impact on the delivery of health care to local citizens by creating a long-lasting legacy of enhanced services and facilities. For reasons of legacy, sustainability and cost-efficiency, OCOGs are encouraged to ensure that medical services for each stakeholder group, venue and Event are adapted to actual needs, while respecting the necessary services to athletes The medical services deals with health care and doping control. The high organizational complexity and relationships with Foundation on the one hand and with the territory on the other as well as a national and international bodies and institutions require continuous monitoring of activities. All activities typifying medical services are under the control of the IOC medical commission. The role of Medical Project Manager Specialist is considered in planning and control activities in all phases of the project: strategic plan, operational plan and games time with consequent reporting. Responsibilities: • Act as point of contact for different FAs for questions related to Medical Services • Represent medical services FA in different MiCo2026 planning processes, when delegated by Director • Develop and keep updated planning documents for Medical Services FA • Organise and document regular meeting of Medical Services FA in support of the PMO and the Director • Provide planning and issues management support to Director . Participate in meetings as requested by Director • Keep meeting minutes and provide meeting reports to Director Skills and competencies: The identified resource must have a three-year degree preferably in the economic, managerial or management field (or equivalent) and have gained experience in the organizational field.
