WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE - High leadership capabilities including ability to lead the business through the team and with the store Commercial Team. - Ability to make things happen, priorities and make decisions by championing flexibility, speed and simplicity. - A considered decision-maker thanks to strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trustful relationships - Ability in communicating in an inspirational way with the IKEA tone of voice. - Ability to organise and prioritize different tasks and processes. - Ability to identify business opportunities and to create a high commercial performance. - Ability to follow up and measure performance of output and capture learnings to improve planning and performance moving forward. - Knowledge of: Sales techniques, local market, HFB Range and services, Sales Steering, Sales channels, Tools & Processes, Cycles, Data Analytics and Sales KPIs, Sales Location Management/Space Capacity and articles forecasting. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY - Support the Commercial Team Leader in taking responsibility for the department goals in every channels and secure that action plan ensures the country priorities for your Home Furnishing Business (HFB) are implemented in your store. Follow up and act accordingly by using proven solutions and good examples. - Ensure the shop is in excellent shape as new and always fully and efficiently stocked with the four merchandising basics in place, and that the IKEA product range is presented in ways that inspire and satisfy customers in every touch points. - Be brave on commercial opportunities or threats to face a fast-changing business environment by monitoring the main KPIs, evaluating relevant input from your local market, investigating local customer needs and their feedbacks in all the channels and analysing stock availability. - Be an active speaking partner with your Commercial Team Leader and team to have an effective collaboration between units and SO, by keeping an active eye on the competition and sharing best practises and proven solutions. - Ensure that the team has the right growth mindset and sales attitude, the correct knowledge about the product range in your department, and the IKEA services so that they can share this with IKEA customers to exceed their overall expectations on shopping experience. - Support your Team Leader in recruit, onboard & develop the team, its individual members, and their talent to have engaged co-workers and ensure a succession planning. - Be an active player in working on sustainability initiatives with the team through ensuring sustainability priorities are reflected across store offering. - Be an active player in driving an open and sharing climate, be a role model of the IKEA values and contribute to the transformation of IKEA.
