From Day 1 you are empowered to make a difference for a better tomorrow with your full potential and creativity.Your ChallengeYou will take ownership of contract risk evaluation and preparation in compliance with the Italian Law (Codice degli Appalti) and ensure timely and efficient contract analysis and evaluation. You will work closely with the Project Manager and, if needed, with the Legal department to guarantee the most effective negotiation until the closure of the contract.Some of the main activities will be:To provide clear contractual analysis and advice to project team on matters concerning contractual obligations, contract risk, and claim management in collaboration with legal department.To manage daily commercial and contractual issues, being the key focal point and owner for all activities carried out within the contract packageIn close collaboration with the PM, to interact with clients, contractors and suppliersTo ensure mitigation of risksTo prepare the financial aspect of the Variation Negotiation with CommercialTo review incoming correspondence prior to issue to the client, and draft official correspondence.To provide support to the Procurement Department in negotiation of Subcontracts and Purchase Orders.What you need to bring with youProfessional experience in same role, experience in Railway sector is preferredUnderstanding of the risks of the contract(s) and the potential legal and financial consequences associated therewith.Excellent knowledge of Italian Commercial, Civil and Public Procurement Law (legal environment, taxation, etc) in Italian Multinationals or Multinational Branches based in Italy.Knowledge of general contractual standardsExperience in working on major complex projects and in their risk appraisal and claims managementAnalytical, communication and influencing skillsUse of independent judgment and creativity in resolution of contract claim issuesInternal and external negotiation skillsProficiency in Italian and English, German and/or Spanish would be a plusPassion to never-stop growingRespect and appreciation of each person’s uniqueness, willingness to co create and share knowledgeWhat we offerFlexibility: trustful environment with an inclusive and flexible way of working driven by results; hybrid and remote working enabled by innovative tools and devices, personal computer and smartphone; wi-fi connection reimbursement.Welfare: flexible welfare programs and health insurance extendable to your family; professional and extraprofessional accident insurance; free on-site lunch options.Never stop growing: plenty opportunities for continuous and individual learning journeys An inclusive team culture where you can be yourselfJoin us and be yourself.
