Job Title: Reporting & Consolidation Expert

LHH is seeking a highly skilled Reporting & Consolidation Expert to join our team in Milan. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for preparing consolidated financial statements, reviewing group monthly reporting, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of accounting data.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements for the Group in Italy, adhering to group accounting standards.
  • Review group monthly reporting from subsidiaries, utilizing SAP ERP, to ensure correctness and reliability of accounting data.
  • Prepare additional disclosures for statutory group reporting.
  • Perform various reconciliations for P&L and BS for M/E closing and reporting purposes.
  • Coordinate the accounting team of subsidiaries to ensure timely delivery of reporting packages and meet all financial reporting requirements.
  • Proactively support local finance teams during the monthly close process to ensure timely submissions.
  • Lead intercompany and elimination processes for the group, including P&L and balance sheet, equity pick-up, and intercompany transactions.
  • Support Controlling teams and business Unit Managers in the budgeting process, including IFRS adjustments and accounting impacts.
  • Maintain corporate calendars, tracking local and global adherence to timelines.
  • Ensure the legal hierarchies, account structure, and metrics/dimensions of the data model within the consolidation and reporting system meet management needs and external reporting requirements.
  • Analyze data in financial statements and related variance analysis.
  • Support external auditors in their audit activities.
  • Ensure subsidiary compliance with adoption of accounting policies and post-acquisition accounting adjustments.
Your Profile:
  • Degree in Economics.
  • Several years of experience in financial reporting and consolidation in an international context.
  • Perfect understanding of IFRS rules.
  • Experience with consolidation tools (BFC is a plus) and aptitude for IT tools.
  • Client-oriented, autonomous, proactive, and pragmatic.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently, often with tight deadlines.
  • Act independently to solve problems and make proposals.
  • Professional English is a must (French or German is a plus).

Location: Milan

Salary Package: 60,000€
