We're seeking an ambitiousbachelor's/master's studentto support our maintenance department with an internship project at ourMozzanica, Italy location. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment alongside our global teams and gain valuable experience in the field. The department that will welcome you is the maintenance department with the aim of optimize the current installed relief system on the plant. You will be part of a dynamic environment, where you will experience everyday how a maintenance department works as part of a big chemical company. As an intern, you'll assist in validating relief devices as per Dow standard. This involves collecting and organizing equipment data, closing documentation gaps, and supporting field validation efforts. You'll collaborate with teams to ensure compliance and enhance safety protocols. Project description The scope of the project is to validate relief devices validation as per Dow standard. The first phase of the project will be focused on collecting information and regarding devices and safety vent systems and close existing gaps in the documentation. The second phase of the project will be to properly archive information as required and get them available as needed. At the same time, the data will be provided to the team to complete and validate calculation. Highest priority will be for equipment in hazardous service, then the project will be focused on non-hazardous service equipment. Responsibilities - Collect and organize equipment data to close documentation gaps. - Support field data collection efforts. - Archive necessary information into databases. - Participate in field validation activities. - Assist in defining and implementing best solutions. - Support equipment certification efforts. Qualifications - Pursuing a bachelor's/master's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. - Proficient in English. Italian language is a plus. - Available to start between June and July 2024 for a minimum of 6 months. - Comfortable working in a multicultural environment. - Enjoys fieldwork and troubleshooting activities. - Tech-savvy with a passion for data collection. Preferred Skills - You are willing to work in a multicultural environment be part of Dow team. - You like to spend time in the field and participate in trouble-shooting activities. - You are a tech savvy, enjoying collecting data and relative information.
