ACET is seeking C-26 Maintenance Administration/Logistics Technicians at the following locations: PMRF- Barking Sands, Hawaii NAS- Sigonella, Italy NSA- Naples, Italy USTPS- Patuxent River, MD This position maintains aircraft/engine logbooks and associated records and is the sites logístical representative. Responsibilities: - Performs networking functions between individual stations which includes analysis, correction of hardware/software errors, and data entry. - Extracts data, formulates/interprets management reports, creates archives, and saves data in support of deployment and detachment operations. - Technician performs a wide range of clerical and administrative duties related to aircraft maintenance, such as preparing reports/correspondence, filing, typing, and performing data base/systems analysis. - Acts as the sites logístical representative and Government property administrator. - Additional duties as may be assigned. Requirements: - Minimum 1 year experience with FAA Administration functions and records management - Track configuration status and track all incorporations of all Government approved service actions and Technical Directives (TDs) for the C-26 aircraft, engine, systems, subsystems, components, software, and SE IAW SAE/EIA-649C. - Maintain all maintenance records as identified in 14 CFR 91.417. All maintenance shall be recorded IAW 14 CFR 43.9, all inspections shall be recorded IAW 14 CFR 43.11, and all life limited components shall be dispositioned IAW 14 CFR 43.10. - Update and maintain current aircraft logbooks IAW FAA regulations - Update and maintain current engine logbooks IAW FAA regulations. - Update and maintain current propeller logbooks IAW FAA regulations. - Document the completion of an Engine, Propulsion System, or Module to include: Transfer, Receive, Install, Remove, End of Quarter, Allocate, In-Work, Awaiting Maintenance, Awaiting Parts, Downgrade, Build Up Power Section Serial Number, Ready for Issue (RFI), Strike, New Serial Number, Certify, and Special documentation on all engines. - Populate the Decisions Knowledge Programming for Logistics Analysis and Technical Evaluation (DECKPLATE)/Engine Transaction Reporting (DECKETR) database IAW NAVAIRINST 13700.15F. - Obtain and maintain technical data, maintenance publications, flight manuals and subscriptions for support of aircraft and related systems - Establish and maintain maintenance and operations libraries of all manuals, publications, technical support data, supplemental flight manuals, supplemental maintenance manuals, and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness - Able to perform logistic functions to include Government Furnished Property management at the site. - Advance Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel) - High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate - Able to obtain and maintain the level of Industrial Security Clearance required by the Government. - Able to obtain and maintain required clearance for Common Access Card (CAC). Physical Requirements: - Must be able to lift and maneuver 50 pounds independently. - Must be able to pass fit for work physical and/or drug test as required. - Must be able to work in areas that require awkward posturing, bending, kneeling, squatting, to include working overhead. Position requires sitting and/or standing at workbenches and wire boards 99% of the day. - Must be able to work at height in the hangar and on the flightline. - Must be able to man and perform Flightline Extinguisher duties. - If required must be able to pass a DOT physical and operate Powered Industrial Trucks. - If required must be able to pass a respiratory physical and wear a respirator for 2 - 4 hours. - If required must be able to perform confined space activities. - Position requires repetitive hand use using wire cutters, crimpers, etc. - Travel may be required.
