Media Relations Officer - Communication Unit

We are looking for a Media Relations Officer to work in the COM unit.

• Provide communication advice and act as focal point for matters in the relevant field;

• Deal with enquiries from the press, interview requests and press events in the assigned areas of responsibility;

• Ensure effective liaison with relevant colleagues across the organisation, supporting with the analysis of media coverage and defining actions to take;

• Manage the development of communication plans, having in mind a coordinated communication approach (i.e. between EU and national partners);

• Research, develop and write engaging content ensuring accuracy, consistency and coherence both for assigned areas;

• Contribute as requested to communications projects (e.g. joint communication activities, podcasts).
