Summary In this position, you will support maintenance and engineering activities with your technical knowledge, helping to ensure the proper working of automated lines and quick resolution of possible issues. Thisiswhere you can contribute to the DryCart and Compounding production in Medolla and Baxter's mission What you'll be doing Analyze, identify and propose improvements to code in Siemens S7 and other PLCs to ensure more efficient and reliable operation of industrial automation systems. Actively collaborate with the maintenance and engineering team to ensure the correct functioning of systems, resolution of technical problems and preventive maintenance support. Develop and update the technical documentation relating to automation systems, including diagrams and user manuals. Support the engineering team to define and implement strategic projects in the production areas (e.g.introduction of new technologies, revamping of old systems, optimization of pre-existing automated machines and lines, etc). Provide experience and support to the preparation of the user requirement, design and qualification activities of new equipment and systems, with particular focus on the SW validation. Maintain an updated level of knowledge on industrial automation technologies, participating in training courses aimed at expanding your know-how. What you'll bring Bachelor's or master's degree in Automation, Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering or similar disciplines. In-depth knowledge of industrial instrumentation and the main communication standards used in the sector. Knowledge of the main data network design and management techniques. Expertise in PLC code optimization, with particular focus on the Siemens S7 platform. Proficiency in Ignition SCADA or similar platform and Human Machine Interface (HMI). Expertise in EthernetIP, Profinet, Profibus, AS-i or other fieldbus networks. Knowledge of vision systems such as Omron, Cognex and Keyence. Expertise in VFDs, safety gateways and input/output devices. Knowledge of the fundamental notions of electrical and instrumental systems at an industrial level. Ability to work in a team, communicate effectively and solve complex technical problems. Orientation towards quality and safety at work, with attention to detail. Ability to manage stressful situations and Problem Solving skills. Flexibility in learning and adapting to new technologies and systems. Advanced knowledge of English and Italian, spoken and written.
