Malwarebytes is looking for…

We’re looking for a talented software engineer who loves developing security software for Microsoft Windows, with some experience in Windows internals and a willingness to improve their Windows kernel/user development skills. Their responsibilities will be mainly improving existing Windows security tools, researching, and implementing new malware detection and protection technologies. On-site availability in Perugia, Italy is strongly preferred.

What You’ll Do:
  • Software development under the Microsoft Windows platform (C/C++/.NET)
  • Maintaining existing protection and detection tools and platforms
  • Implementing new research tools and malware detection features
  • Joint development of user mode and kernel mode software
Skills You’ll Need to Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of Windows software development
  • C/C++ and C# knowledge
  • Microsoft Windows internals knowledge
  • Knowledge of how to develop using Windows APIs
  • Fluency in English and Italian languages is mandatory
  • Team player with excellent self-learning and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a high-performance team, in a high-technology business company
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving, with a positive and motivated approach
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience in malware analysis and the cybersecurity field in general.
  • Experience in Windows driver development and debugging using WinDbg and alternatives
  • Experience in MacOS or Linux development and their internals
